The PHL Season 2 was officially launched with the press conference held on august 18, 2025 at the Colombo Swimming Club.

Building on the success of its inaugural season, PHL Season 2 promises an even higher standard of competition, with top local and international players showcasing their talent on Sri Lanka's biggest hockey stage.

With new formats, exciting innovations, and greater opportunities for young players, Season 2 sets a new benchmark for the growth of hockey in Sri Lanka, further strengthening the country's presence in the Asian and international hockey arena.
